coterie + barbie + fuzzy pumper

i'm back in new york with ange and our niece, gigi.  this is gigi's first time in the big, BIG city and she's smitten.  fashion coterie is also happening this week and yesterday ange put on her Holiday hat and braved the crowds.  coterie happens twice a year after fashion week and is where buyers from all over come to see and feel the collections and place orders.  i'll be spending the afternoon there today with my focus being on Lauren Moffatt, Erin Fetherston and Boyod.  i'll surely report back with all the buzz.

but first- being in nyc with 11 year old gigi is wild.  everything is exciting to her- especially FAO Swhartz and Dylan's Candy Bar.  last night we dined at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square (never again- really can't stand being anywhere near Times Square)- but gigi LOVED every second and that was the point.  back to FAO Shwartz... did you know you can buy that massive floor piano for $250,000.00?  or a CREEPY AWFUL Barbie foosball table for $25,000.00?!  seriously- the thing is abusive.

all in all the place is pretty awesome.  i stopped in my tracks when i saw this retro wonder behind glass.  if you're 30-something like me, i bet you had one, too!

i sooo don't remember it being called the "Fuzzy Pumper", though!

ANYWAY.....

VISIT SARA at Holiday today!  EVA FRANCO's deliriously darling sailboat dresses are in NOW!!!
